Drawing Hope is a charitable organization that – through art – serves survivors of abuse and other life struggles. Drawing Hope helps survivors connect with their own strength, see their beauty and embrace their freedom.
Drawing Hope is the organization behind a number of David’s projects: Points with Purpose (PWP), Freedom Woman, and the portfolio of charitable works David has been creating over the last decade. These projects have a number of things in common. They all aim to raise awareness of globally relevant issues; educate about topics that are not easy to talk about; inspire people to help each other to survive, heal and live well; and motivate action that – on a global scale – will create change.
In his work at Drawing Hope, David not only creates the artwork, he also envisions new ways to understand people’s life experiences, architects supportive communities, conceptualizes educational approaches and speaks at conferences.
Volunteers at Drawing Hope maintain and moderate the global community websites, create and produce print and online educational materials for individuals and organizations and promote Drawing Hope so that it can grow and thrive.
Drawing Hope was created to anchor and support David’s existing charitable initiatives and over time Drawing Hope will create and support new initiatives, all with similar focus: helping survivors connect with their own strength, see their beauty and embrace their freedom.
