Points With Purpose helps survivors of rape and sexual abuse to step out of isolation and work together in artistic beauty, while creating a supportive, healing community. For every survivor or supporter who signs up for Points With Purpose, one, free, hand-drawn dot is placed in the portrait. The dots come together to represent a survivor who feels confident, proud and beautiful.
Points With Purpose (PWP) is the largest project of its kind, with many thousands of survivors participating from over 150 countries. The anonymous support of the PWP community offers survivors and supporters a forum in which to develop their voice. Some survivors join the community for only awhile, while others develop a long-term presence in the community; all are represented in the portrait. Together, the dot-members form a living work of art with the power to strengthen each and every one.
